Dieting is a multibillion-dollar industry that attracts thousands of new people each and every year. Most people aren’t satisfied with the shape they’re currently in and want to make some changes to their lifestyle to help them get the body they want.
A diet is a good way to begin changing your habits for the better. Most diets are best used if they come along with major changes to your eating habits once you’ve finished them or else you’re at risk of the dreaded yo-yo effect of gaining all of the weight back. That’s not to say that diets aren’t a great starting point to get some results more quickly to keep you motivated, they can, in fact, change your metabolism and help you get on track to a healthier, happier life.

The typical keto diet is 70% fat, 25% protein, and 5% carbs. After drinking a lot of water and cutting out carbs, the body will switch to burning fat and the results will be seen very quickly.
Three Week Diet
Short term dieting has always been popular because people aren’t always ready to commit to a huge lifestyle change and feel it’s best to work at their issues bit by bit instead of making huge promises to themselves that they might not be able to fulfill. 3-week diets can help you lose up to 23 pounds in just 21 days. Three-week diets are extremely intense to get the results they promise in such a short amount of time. Luckily, any worthwhile 3-week diet will also come with a handy guidebook on how to change your eating habits for the better once the diet is over so you don’t gain the weight back. Largely, these diets involve long periods of fasting and a lot of resistance cardio style workouts.
The paleo diet is intended to return your eating habits to that of early cavemen. In essence, it aims to remove refined sugars, preservatives, and harvested grains from the diet. A typical paleo diet is heavy in meat, vegetables, seafood, fruit, nuts, and more or less anything your typical hunter-gatherer would have for dinner. Most adherents to this diet report increased energy levels and better body composition after removing as much synthetic and artificial additives from their diets as possible.
All of these diets have their pros and cons and you should figure out what your health goals are before picking any of them. Are you trying to just lose weight through any means or are you trying to preserve muscle mass as well and keep gaining more? The keto diet works well for those who want to still hit the gym and gain muscle but like to trim some fat off of their frame.
