Visit your doctor for your annual physical just to make sure everything is as it should be. If you have insurance, that covers these services then take full advantage of it. Through checkup, you will become aware if anything wrong is going on in your body.



Lack of sleep affects the metabolism, mood, concentration, memory, motor skills, stress hormones and even the immune system and cardiovascular health severely. A night of good sleep allows the body to heal, repair and rejuvenate itself which is not possible when a person is awake.


Exercise is important for being fit and healthy. Exercise also improves blood circulation and body awareness, and regular exercise can help combat depression.

Eat Healthfully

Make fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains a part of your diet. For protein intake eat poultry, fish, tofu, and beans. Eat balanced meals and do not overeat. Do avoid highly processed foods that contain hidden sugars or excessive fat.

A healthy breakfast starts your day off right. It provides you with the necessary energy and fuel for optimal mental and physical performance for the day. Morning breakfast helps to maintain stable blood sugar levels and healthy weight because you are less likely to overindulge later in the day.
