The CBD oil derived from industrial hemp is legal in all 50 States. However, the CBD oil derived from marijuana is legalized for recreational use in only 8 States.
Since CBD is regarded as a byproduct of marijuana (which is rich in THC), it is allowed only for medicinal use in 46 states (including the 8 states that allow it for recreational use).
