4 Natural Healing Ways to Reduce Inflammation Naturally

Although you may not be able to see or feel it, inflammation is a problem that could be damaging your body over time. Also known as swelling, inflammation is part of the body’s natural healing process, and it helps to fight injury and infection.

However, this isn’t the only time that it occurs. Inflammation can be caused when the body’s immune system goes into action even though there is no injury or infection to fight off. And since there is nothing to heal, the immune system cells that usually heal and protect us begin to destroy healthy joints, organs, and arteries.

Inflammation is a natural response to not eating right, not getting enough exercise, and being highly stressed. And left unchecked, inflammation can lead to serious problems such as heart disease, cancer, obesity, blood vessel disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s disease, to name a few. Here’s what you can do to reduce inflammation and start living a healthier life from today.

#1. Eat More Anti-Inflammatory Foods:

When it comes to reducing inflammation, the foods that you eat are just as important as any medication and supplements that you may be taking to combat the condition. It’s a wise idea to load up as much as you can on anti-inflammatory foods; these include fruits and vegetables, food high in omega-3 fatty acids such as oily fish and tofu, and high-protein snacks such as walnuts, soybeans and flax seeds. Blueberries, garlic, olive oil, tea, grapes, and spices such as ginger and turmeric can all also help to reduce inflammation.

#2. Take the Right Supplements:

The good news is that when it comes to reducing inflammation, there are several supplements available that will work quite well when paired with a healthy and balanced diet. According to Super Smart, the health benefits of luteolin are especially great for fighting inflammation naturally. Speak to your doctor about which supplements are right for you. Many herbal supplements will work well, for example, garlic capsules, spirulina, fish oil, and ginger supplements.

You may also wish to consider medically formulated foods such as UltrainflamX Plus 360, which are specially designed to combat inflammation and contain a range of anti-inflammatory ingredients such as turmeric extract, rosemary, and ginger. UltrainflamX Plus 360 is a powder supplement, which is available in a range of flavors, including tasty chocolate orange. It’s ideal if you suffer from inflammatory bowel disease.

#3. Manage Stress:

Inflammation is a natural immune system response to stress, so investing time in managing your stress levels can go a long way, for both your physical and mental health. If you feel that it is necessary, you may wish to speak to your doctor about prescribing anti-anxiety medication or referring you to a specialized therapist in order to help you better manage feelings of stress. Exercise, yoga, meditation, and hypnotherapy can also help to keep stress more manageable for you.

#4. Exercise More:

Last but not least, staying more active will help reduce inflammation in your body. Walking, cycling, swimming, and yoga are all great ways to exercise that don’t require a big commitment such as gym membership. You may even want to look into joining walking and other fitness clubs and groups in your area; meeting new friends helps you by increasing social support too, which can further help with the stress management side of things.
