Easiest Ways to Take CBD

Thanks to its powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, and anti-anxiety properties that offer many potential benefits to physical and mental health, CBD has been increasingly popular. The stigma around it due to its association with cannabis is also fading – after all, you can’t get “high” from it like you can from THC.

With so many ways to consume CBD, it can be a bit overwhelming when trying to decide which type to take. When you’re first starting out, you might need to experiment, using a variety of CBD products to discover your favorite method. With these options generally, here are the easiest ways to take CBD.  There’s a good chance you’ll find your preferred product among them.

Edibles

There is a long list of CBD edibles to choose from and many advantages to consuming CBD this way. They offer a quick, convenient, and discrete method, and they’re often quite a bit more affordable too. You can enjoy them in everything from CBD gummies to CBD chocolate, hard candies, cookies, cakes, beverages, and more. There are two main types based on the chemical composition of the oil they’ve been infused with, CBD dominant edibles, or pure CBD, and balanced THC/CBD edibles. While pure CBD, which most CBD edibles contain, doesn’t provide any psychoactive effects with less than 0.3% THC, they provide CBD benefits like anti-inflammatory properties. Balanced edibles can contain THC concentrations and various THC: CBD ratios, which means they may get you high while still providing the same benefits and possibly a greater ability to relieve pain.

CBD is also available in a variety of topical products like creams, balms, and ointments. They’re easy to apply and ideal for skin conditions like rashes and acne, sore muscles, or even migraines when rubbed onto the temples. You won’t need any extra tools or accessories to apply them, but it does require quite a bit if you need a higher dose, and the effects aren’t as long-lasting as edibles and other methods.

Softgels

Softgel capsules are one of the most efficient ways to take CBD whether you’re at home or on the go. The capsule helps to protect the CBD oil by hermetically sealing it, preventing damage caused by light and air. Typically odorless and tasteless, they’re also perfect for those who have difficulty swallowing as they tend to be easier to swallow than other options. One can incorporate them into an existing supplement routine easily, and there’s no mess involved either.

Smoking

Smoking Is an easy way to take CBD once you have the tools. It also provides the highest concentration of CBD and is one of the quickest ways to enjoy the effects. That’s because when it’s inhaled, the CBD goes straight to the lungs and into the bloodstream. Smoking CBD concentrate requires a rig that looks like a water pipe, or you can roll a joint with high-CBD cannabis, but with that method, you’ll be getting some THC too. Of course, smoking can be hard on the throat and lungs, and the high concentration delivered may not be suitable for those who don’t require a hefty dose.
