Garlic Soup Recipe for Healing – Roasted Garlic and Sweet Potato Soup
Eating garlic regularly is not only good for us; it has been linked to reversing cancer and infections. The NIH National Cancer Institute says “Several population studies show an association between increased intake of garlic and reduced risk of certain cancers, including breast cancer”. We all should be consuming garlic in our meals. It’s extremely cost-effective, super easy to grow, and tastes absolutely fantastic!

Garlic Soup Recipe for Healing
If you want to harness the healing power of garlic, then try adding it to some of your favorite recipes, and here is a recipe you can try:
Roasted Garlic & Sweet Potato Soup Recipe
Total Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 8-10
Ingredients
- 6 sweet potatoes
- 1 large red or white onion
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 head of garlic, roasted
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1-2 cups water
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F. Slice potatoes in long halves, rub with oil and place cut side down on the baking sheet. Add a head of garlic cloves to the sheet and cover with oil. Bake for 45 min or until potatoes are soft.
Heat oil in a pan. Saute onion then purée in a food processor with half of the potatoes and roasted garlic. Place purée in a saucepan, adding the rest of the potatoes and broth. Cook until thoroughly heated.
