A Mediterranean Diet Recipe: Kalamata Olive Tapenade


  • 3 cloves garlic peeled
  • 1 cup pitted kalamata olives
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)


  1. Place the garlic cloves into a blender or food processor use the mince option.
  2. Then add the olives
  3. Put the capers in
  4. Add the parsley
  5. Add the lemon juice
  6. Finally, add the olive oil
  7. Blend until everything is finely chopped
  8. Season to flavor it up with salt and pepper.


Aluminum foil helps keep food moist, ensures it cooks evenly, keeps leftovers fresh, and makes clean-up easy.
