Spring is here and everyone’s so happy to see the nice weather and more sunlight. However, it changes rather suddenly and quite randomly. Spring weather is very fickle and we never know whether it’s going to rain or be extremely hot for this particular part of the year. Perhaps it’ll be windy or a bit chilly and we need to be prepared for practically anything. This is why we never know what to wear and it’s one of the problems of this lovely season. Luckily, there is an answer – layers. The key to staying properly dressed definitely is having multiple layers you can take off or put back on according to the weather. So, let’s check out what’s missing from your wardrobe, so you can fix it ASAP. Here are the must-have pieces to add to your spring wardrobe.
A nice spring cardigan is an absolute must for the spring season. Pick out several models so you can cover all your daily looks. From a business meeting to a night out, you need to have a cardigan for every dress code. They’re not expensive, especially the classical ones, so it shouldn’t be a problem to get them. They usually go great with jeans and a short-sleeved T-shirt and you can take them off in case it gets too warm outside.
It’s finally time to wear a dress made of something other than wool and similar heavy fabrics. Feel free to express your enthusiasm and wear dresses as soon as spring arrives. Of course, don’t be fooled by the weather and make sure you always have a cardigan or a thin jacket over the dress, as well as tights since it’s not that warm yet. There will be plenty of time for sundresses in the summer; for the time being, you still have to compromise. Given the fact that we all carry around a bit of extra holiday weight, don’t forget that there are some awesome plus size dresses for women available all around.
For some reason, these have become a huge trend all over the world. Unfortunately, they’re not an acquired taste – you either like their appearance or not. Luckily, if you have some other footwear criteria besides aesthetics, you may be converted by their incredible comfort. If you do decide to go with this trend, you’ll see how easy it is to walk and run in these shoes. They’re perfect for that spring mood and a can-do attitude, so make sure to try them out before you make your judgment.
Another great way to layer up this spring definitely is an oversized hoodie. Of course, this is a highly informal outfit, but a great one if you’re going for a walk or a run or to a cool bar. You can wear a short-sleeved tee under that hoodie and it’s great for pairing up with jeans, leggings, and sweats. So, the choices are many.
Given that spring brings us much more sunlight than we’ve been used to throughout winter, it’s high time we got some awesome shades to ease into the whole change. Of course, searching for the right sunglasses can be a very complicated endeavor. You need to be careful about which traits they need to have depending on your eye sensitivity as well as your budget. However, the shape seems to be giving us the most trouble. We need to figure out a model that fits our face well, as well as make sure that the design will match all our outfits. It’s not easy, but it’s possible and once you do it, the quality of your life is guaranteed to improve.
Generally, being properly dressed according to the weather and season is more than just a question of fashion and style. It’s actually a question of health. Our immune system is probably quite weak after the long winter and cold. This is why we are extremely prone to catching a cold or a fever. We should try our best to protect ourselves from getting sick again. Naturally, not being properly dressed is practically a promise of a cold and once it starts, it will be very hard to shake off. Nevertheless, if you learn to dress smart and use layers, the risk of you getting sick this spring will decrease to a minimum and you’ll be free to enjoy all the beauty of the season.
