His book is a great guide for people who want to learn about CBD and for those who are looking for a more holistic approach to healing their mind and body with the possibility of improving their longevity.

Dr. Jim Collins, Ph.D. informative read, a 338-page book, about CBD discussing the possibilities of healing mental and physical health issues using science-based information to support the data in the book.  It should be read by anyone with a body.

Throughout “Living Longer and Stronger With CBD,” Collins shares amazing information discussing the importance of understanding that there is a lot formation in the media and on the Internet which is not correct and some can be misleading.

Besides explaining what CBD is, How it works and going over numerous conditions, and how CBD can help each of those conditions, he also discusses how all CBD products are not created equal.

Dr. Collins in his book teaches you how to buy good CBD and what to look for in the product.  He also goes over what CBD to avoid.  Some of the topics he discusses in this particular chapter are how much THC and CBD are in the product, how to measure the dose, what certificates to look for, how to find out where it was grown and what CBD products to avoid, How it was extracted, what to look for on the website and what the prices should go for.

His book is geared for several audiences explicitly for the curious individual, healthcare workers, or a current CBD user.  The chapters are divided by topic, his book, a guide for practical use, instructions, and great advice throughout the book to advise readers.

He writes with precision, conviction, respect, and thoughtfulness about CBD and illnesses as well as discussing how CBD is helping these conditions and the potentials it has for the future.

His book is also shaped by his personal experience — he writes with the frankness and intimate knowledge of someone who has seen how illness can sweep into someone’s life and destroy them both mentally and physically. (I, for one, am charmed by Dr. Jim Collins book).

He put so much valuable, well-organized information in this book.  This was not a book that was thrown together. I have had many of those types of books sent to me.  This book was well-thought-out and planned with the ability to help change lives.

His book is truly amazing. His book “Living Longer and Stronger With CBD” teaches you, motivates you, and encourages you.  I highly recommend this book.  This is a book everyone should read.

Dr. Jim Collins

Dr. Collins passion for senior care, education, and creating businesses that can make a difference in the lives of seniors and healthcare professionals started when he was a young teen. His mother was a nursing assistant at a local skilled nursing facility.  She didn’t drive, so he ended up taking her to work and picking her up. Most days, he would stop in and spend time with the staff and residents and experienced the feeling “this is where I was meant to be”.

His early college years were filled with every course he could take that focused on aging in gerontology, psychology, biology, and nutrition. He begged and pleaded with the Dean of Arts and Sciences to create his own degree since there was none in Gerontology at that time. The end result was that he graduated with the first “Applied Gerontology” Bachelor’s degree on campus.

After earning a Master’s degree, Ph.D., and working 30 years in the field, he continues to educate senior care professionals across the country through two of his companies, Collins Learning and CEU Academy. He held a leadership position for a privately owned hospice agency and has most recently founded Sapphire Essentials, which provides high-quality THC-free CBD products designed for older adults and caregivers.
