The authors go on to explain the purpose of food is not just to keep us alive, but used as a medicine too. For some illnesses and diseases, medicine is necessary, but many conditions can be treated with home remedies created from nature itself.

There is always room to learn and honestly, I must say this book has taught me a lot. The book covers everything from acne, allergic skin reactions, heartburn, and eye health to stress, anxiety, and even weight management.
The book even covers a small portion dedicated to women’s health problems as well. In chapter, 47, 48, and 49 the authors discuss different home remedies to help cure menopause, morning sickness, and menstrual cramps. Medical issues that all women experience at some point in their life and struggle to overcome.
The remedies are easy to understand and to do in your own home. I also liked how they explain how each one works. This way you have a clear understanding of why you should do the suggestions made in the book.
I have tried a few home remedies like the one for sore throats and found them very beneficial. 500 Time-Tested Home Remedies and the Science Behind Them natural, holistic approach helped me realize that WE control our bodies.
We can change the way we feel by providing our bodies with the proper foods and natural resources available to us. People do not need to rely on pills. Individuals need to rely on ourselves.
