What Is REGAINE Foam?
REGAINE foam is a topical hair regrowth treatment that contains Minoxidil. Minoxidil is a proven medical ingredient that stimulates hair growth in adult men and women by creating an ideal growth environment for existing hair follicles through increased supply of blood.

REGAINE foam is formulated to provided results in hair conditions such as women and men pattern hair loss, in hereditary hair loss, a combination of genetics, hormones, and age that causes a progressive shrinking, or miniaturization, of certain scalp follicles and a shortening of the hair’s growth cycle. Over time, the active growth phase for hair becomes shorter, producing smaller and finer hairs with each cycle. Eventually, there may be no growth at all.
Where will REGAINE regrow hair?
REGAINE foam is directly applied to the area of the scalp that is suffering area loss or thinning or hair. Over time, REGAINE will regrow hair in the areas where the foam has been regularly applied. However, as Regaine foam is formulated with 5% of Minoxidil, it is possible that patient might experience hair growth in the areas closer to the areas where Regaine foam has been applied.
Regaine Foam with Minoxidil can increase hair growth by four times as much as a placebo, it is advised to use it carefully on the areas affected by hair loss. It is strictly advised not to let your skin get in touch with the product as it can cause the growth of hair and if such a situation occurs, immediately wash the area with plenty of water.
Can REGAINE cause dandruff?
Medicines and their possible side effects vary from individual to individual in different ways. There are a number of possible side effects related to the use of REGAINE foam and Dermatitis is one of them as the production of dermatitis is considered a possible side effect of using Minoxidil. However, possible side effects mentioned on medicine label does not necessarily mean that all patients will experience these side effects or any single one of these.
