Tatiana Dell‘Aquila, a physician assistant, earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006 and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant in 2008 from Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey. Tatiana worked at a local Emergency Room soon after graduation and gained great experience and knowledge provided by her colleagues and mentors. She later felt that something was missing, an important piece of her view of healthcare. She realized that after she treated her patients, she didn’t have contact with them and was unable to follow up with their progress after they were either discharged home or hospitalized. The inability to build a strong provider-patient relationship was a major contributor in her decision to join her husband’s medical practice in 2009 where some patients had been coming since her father-in-law, Dr. Frank Dell‘Aquila, moved the practice to Nutley in 1973. Tatiana readily acclimated into the practice and has brought a woman’s touch to the health care approach which has helped balance the needs of our patients.
Tatiana Dell’Aquila is certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants, she is a Member of New Jersey Society of Physician Assistants, Diplomat of American Academy Anti-Aging Health Practitioners and Member of Physicians for Latino Health. Along with her husband, she completed a Fellowship in Functional and Integrative Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and is enrolled in Metabolic and Functional Medicine Master’s Program offered through the University of South Florida Medical School.
